IMGC GROUP SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES–Congratulates Mohammad Rizwan

IMGC Group congratulates Mohammad Rizwan for his continuous distinction he has received. It involves  PCB's Most Valuable Cricketer of the Year for 2021, PCB's T20I Cricketer of the Year for 2021, Named in  ICC Men's T20I Team of the Year  for 2021, Named as  ICC Men's T20 cricketer of the Year  for 2021. IMGC group  is proud of him for being the ambassador since 2015. On his return from overseas, he called on Mr. Sheikh Amjad Rasheed Chairman IMGC Group. Chairman conveyed his praises on his performance and appreciated his ethical integrity. He proposed Mohammad Rizwan to propose for producing young talent, as already done through Shama Cricket club.  

U.S. 5th Fleet Ships Join Pakistan Navy to Prepare for Combined Maritime Security Operation

   Pakistan – U.S. patrol coastal ships USS Squall and USS Whirlwind visited Karachi, Pakistan, for a scheduled port visit January 25-26.   While in Karachi, the crew members conducted visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) training with the Pakistan Navy in preparation for a combined maritime security operation in the North Arabian Sea.     “We are extremely excited to visit Pakistan as we build our relationship and sharpen our competitive edge in a very dynamic region,” said Lt. Cmdr. Suhail Zaheer Lari Memorial Fellowship Fund set up

In memory of Suhail Zaheer Lari, the American Institute of Pakistan Studies (AIPS) and the Lari family has established the Suhail Zaheer Lari Memorial Fellowship, it was announced here today, by the Lari family. The fellowship fund will support scholars who conduct research on Sindh, through an AIPS Long-term or Short-term Fellowship. The fellowship has been started in recognition of the late scholar’s leadership, dedication, commitment, and contribution to the study of Sindh, with the hope that students will continue to build on his valuable work.   Applicants can be pre-doctoral or post-doctoral scholars of South Asia but must be members of AIPS and affiliated with a US higher education institution. CURTAIN RAISER : Nayi Awaaz – Dil Se Gao

 Pakistan’s leading music platform, Bajao.pk, is launching a hunt for Pakistan’s “Nayi Awaaz”, through a nationwide online music competition.  Bajao.pk is dedicated to promoting the voice of Pakistan, especially the undiscovered bundles of talent. Pakistani inter-faith football documentary wins award at the Tagore International Film Festival

  Pakistani documentary  “ Barefoot with Godfather of Soccer-Unwanted but Undaunted ”  awarded at the Tagore International Film Festival, held on 29th of December, 2021 in Bolpur, West Bengal, India.  Tagore International Film Festival, TIFF is named after Rabindranath Tagore, the first Asian who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913. Khalid Hasan Khan has produced and directed the 35 minutes long soccer documentary. The sports documentary revolves around the lives of two former footballers and current soccer coaches, one from the south, while other from the north of Pakistan. The festival commemorates the universal principles of Gautama Buddha, whose humanitarian message is wisdom, kindness, patience, generosity and compassion. The film stars Adnan Bashir Khan, Kainat Munir and Aliza Javed. The story of The Painterist is about a poor artist whose paintings being sold by the curator of an art gallery, under a different name.
